Today's Hunt, Etc

Everyone at Half Acre is charged up because the new store & tasting area opened at our brewery.  You can now come to the brewery to sample some beer and buy brew to go.  We have 6-packs, 22 oz bottles, growlers (1/2 gal. jugs / mason jars), 1/6th bbl kegs and 1/2 bbl kegs.  We'll have scheduled tours Friday's at 5:00, so come check out the brewery, sample some beer and get some to go.

We’re bottling Daisy Cutter Pale Ale in 22’s today, so by the time you get free of employment you can pop into the brewery and get your weekend started off correctly.

Today's hunt is a little different.  In honor of the new Half Acre Truck rolling around town, the truck is this week’s capsule.  If you haven't seen it, keep your eyes peeled and camera / phone out.  The first five people to send us a new photo that we haven't seen - and we'll know if you didn't take it - will get some free beer.

Any news on when the honey beer, Magnus and Baume will be available?

The Honey beer was / is only available at the Marriott on Michigan Ave. We brewed it for them with the use of their honey harvested from their honey bees. Magnus will be out in two weeks. Baume' will be brewed again this winter.

Are the tours going to be a regular Friday occurrence?

I saw the truck earlier last week in front of my fav restaurant and in my excitement almost took a pic. Now I'm kicking myself for not!

Am I missing the info for where to text/email to picture in? I saw the truck twice last week on my way to work, hoping to see it again!

Yee-haaw! Encountered the truck today and picking up my beer tomorrow! Thanks, Gabriel. And, by the way, last week's brewery tour was great. Much appreicated.

Just curious... Are we to believe that as of yet the Half Acre truck has not been newly photographed five times -- "the capsule" has not been entirely "found" as it were?

The capsule has been found, but we still encourage photos of the truck, and it could still very well earn you some free suds...
