Ladies & Gentlemen,
We're having an event at our brewery (4257 N. Lincoln Ave) and you're invited. This will be one of two events that we hope will bookend each year. The first: a winter celebration. A time to exercise the demons and flush it all out.
The cost is $40 per person.
Date of event: 12/18/10 from 6:00 - 9:30pm
275 tickets to be sold. Once they're gone, that's it.
Tickets will go on sale this Friday 12/3 at our brewery store only. Big Hugs Imperial Stout will also be released the same day & time (12noon) (another blog post to follow).
What's the deal with this party you ask?
A plethora of food, all you can eat.
An array of entertainment, maybe all you can handle.
An array of beer, all you can drink. A range of Half Acre beers, including Big Hugs imperial stout brewed in collaboration with Dark Matter Coffee and also Double Daisy Cutter / The Doble Cortador, which is fermenting in preparation of this night.
Also special release beers from other brewers you know and love.
All proceeds go to benefit this party.
So bring your demons and lets have at it together.

When exactly is the event? I know tix go on sale Friday but when is it? I would luv to support.
Did I miss the date somewhere in there?
sorry, fixed...
What time??
6-9:30pm
where at?
at our brewery
Is there a limit to how many tickets you can purchase?
no, no limit. lets not get crazy, though, ok.
What time on Friday do the tix go on sales?
Is the double daisy cutter going to be 'fresh'?
Can we call the brewery to order tickets over the phone or do sales have to be made in person?
Yes, Richard, it will be "fresh." We've brewed another batch of it for this event -- followed by sales of growlers and 22's in our store.
sales will have to be made in person. We're not set up to do mass ordering over the phone.
275 people all at the brewey? Where we all gonna fit??
Nick
Nick -- we had a party in april with roughly 350 without really utilizing the upstairs. We'll do about the same this time and use the upstairs and other nooks more appropriately. We will do this proper.
nick asked a question that i assumed was on everyones mind (surely my own). gabe - you just provided the reassurance i needed to buy my ticket friday. i had no idea there was an upstairs and i didnt know you did an event with 350 people. the brewhouse didnt see that large in my memory.
i just got done riding the train home from work trying to think how to tactfully bring up the thought that 275 was overselling the event without sounding like a jag.
Who is providing the food? Sounds delightful.
Can't wait!!
Double Daisy Cutter in bottles -- you should probably make this another blog post, way to bury the lede :)
Also, the party back in April was great. Actually good to hear you're selling a few fewer tickets, since last time it got really crowded, albeit without really using the upstairs space. But regardless of the crowdedness it was still super fun. Gabriel, will you stand on a table and lead everyone in Ein Prosit a la Crowley?
